There are seasons when life feels deeper than we know how to navigate, when the way forward is uncertain and we wonder how we will ever make it to the other side. Isaiah 43:2 does not promise that we will never face deep waters. It gives us something even greater: the promise that we will never face them alone.

This vintage oil painting pairs that comforting promise in scripture with a moody seascape in layers of stormy blue, soft gray, muted green, and weathered ivory. The hazy horizon and expressive brushwork gives the piece a quiet, collected beauty that feels both timeless and deeply peaceful.

A beautiful reminder for the hard and uncertain seasons: the depth of the water does not determine the nearness of God.
